Dangerous Threadfall

M1D27PP39: Strong gusts of wind have marked Threadfall all month, but on this midafternoon over E4/W4, the gusts are particularly strong and they wreak havoc on the Weyrfolk, and Head Wing in particular. Head Wing's riders suffer multiple injuries ranging from minor (brief trips between to freeze Thread off) to serious enough to miss the next Fall. Weyrleader O'rin remains for the entire Fall, leading a drastically reduced Head Wing. The loss of riders forces the other, surrounding wings to get involved. Left Fore and Right Fore will have to spread out further to help pick up the slack, with the result that injuries start piling up in their ranks too. This in turn affects the coverage in Center Flight and draws all three wings (Mid Wing, Right Flank and Left Flank) upward and into the fray.
