Thread's End Hold Gather Celebration

Gather at TEH!!

A Gather will be held on the last day of M7 at Thread's End Hold, in honor of the new Lord Holder. For the first part of the sevenday, the weather will remain rainy, but all will continue to prep the Hold in the hopes that all will clear in time for the big day. And sure enough, it will!

Look for many vendors to showcase their wares. Master Showanter of TEH's Vintner Hall will even begrudgingly open a booth filled with skins of various wines from past Turns (in spite of the fact that the new Lord Holder, Pantrin, only drinks Benden wines). There will be plenty of races to bet marks on, but expect Thread's End to make a strong showing in its first Gather for well over a Turn! And rumor has it that there may be one or two firelizard clutches to barter eggs from... are they green or gold clutches? No one knows! You will have to attend to find out!

Something of a dark cloud hangs over this Gather, as most Hold residents still mourn the recent death of Lord Carisus, and that black cloud seems to extend to Lord Pantrin. Even as his Holders try to shake off the depression that has plagued them in recent sevendays, he remains broody and bad-tempered. He even keeps a full guard around him at all times... some Holders are wondering if he suspects someone *else* may be after the Lord Holder's seat on Council? Or perhaps he just feels uneasy since no dragonriders turn down a Gather, and he has made his despisal of dragonkind well known.
