CURRENT CALL

This page is intended to act as a quick and easy reference for any open calls (eg Candidate or Ranker calls).

Ranker Call Open Now

Council will be accepting applications for ranking and premium positons beginning Wednesday, August 20th, 0800 AM Eastern US Time. Applications will be accepted for two weeks, ending on Wednesday, September 3rd at 0800 AM.

An official list of available positions is posted below, following the application form. Please remember that Masters' positions other than those currently listed as fnpcs may be created/applied for, as long as the craft is a reasonable one for the location. (A master dolphineer would not be reasonable for GRH/IIW, for example).

We encourage anyone who is interested in these positions to apply. However, please be sure to read the Ranker/Premium Requirements listed below to determine that you and your persona are eligible for the position for which you are applying. Inappropriate applications will not be considered for a Ranker or Premium position.

Ranker/Premium Requirements

No member may hold more than five (5) ranking personas and no more than three (3) may be in the same location (Weyr/Hall/Hold). See in the New Rules, Personas Rule 3, Rank for a definition of ranking personas.
No member may hold more than five (5) premium personas.
A member may hold only one gold dragon, either adult or weyrling.
A member may not hold two rankers in the same wing.
Ranking personas need to remain PC personas and cannot be changed to ONPCs. Adoption of a Free NPC ranker makes them PC.
If a Free NPC is adopted, please be aware that his/her history must remain the same. You can, of course, apply to replace that persona with one of your own creation. If you're awarded a newly created persona, you may be asked by Council to write an explanation on the original Free NPC's departure from that post.
A member must be current on posting requirements for all PCs for the last 3 months. If member is not current then council may require applicant to become current before considering the application.
Member must be at least three months out of mentoring.
Member should show good posting quality, demonstrate accurate canon knowledge and familiarity with club rules.
Per the Charter Holder: Council members may not adopt a ranking or premium persona while serving on Council, nor apply for any ranking or premium position while serving on Council.

Please write a sample post with your chosen Ranker/Premium as the primary persona. You need to set up this post just as if it were going to be sent to the list with the correct intro block, story and signature.

Council would like to remind everyone that this call will be open for two (2) weeks. Please take the time to make your application the best it can be.
