Physical Description: Aenggis is a very small, almost shrivelled-looking man, face and hands burned dark brown by long years under the sun tending the ovines that are his expertise. His hair is white, and he sports a moustache that he twirls when deep in thought. His eyes twinkle a bright blue.

Personality: Save for the times he can be persuaded to tell some of his long tales, Aenggis is not a talkative man. While not grim, he is most serious in his charge as master beastcrafter and expects those under him to give total effort toward ensuring that the flocks thrive.

Life Story: Born in the north, he grew up in a large Hold and was always fascinated by the beasts raised there. Apprenticing to the beastcraft, he attained journeyman rank and then that of master, specialising in ovines. Well known to Lady Jianna, she persuaded him to come south to direct the raising of wool-producing sheep that would be the mainstay of Green Ridge Hold’s economy. He was widowed long ago and chose after that not to remarry, although he does not always avoid the ladies’ company.

Now as Master Herder in charge of the vast number of ovines at Green Ridge Hold, he spends summers in the hill pasture lands with the flocks; winters are spent at the Hold Grounds, where the ovines are maintained during the cold months.
