Physical Description : No one knows exactly what color skin Allegustin originally had, except perhaps his parents. His pallor hints at once being a very light resemblance to skybroom wood but so much time inside has paled him down to the color of weak tea. Dark brown eyes that appear black more often than not are complemented by a shag of black hair that hangs just below his shoulders when it is loose from its well-kempt queue. A bright smile forces already upward slanting eyes even more at an angle, thick lashes resting on his cheeks. His frame is slender but taut muscles keep him from seeming too thin.

Personality : Considered handsome by most, Allegustin is far too immersed in his music to primp or preen for his admirers. Introspective and soft spoken, it often comes as a surprise to others when Allegustin opens his mouth to sing, a pure clear voice emerging that can carry to the back of even the largest hall. He has a hard time overcoming his shyness, rspecially when meeting new people, and is content to spend most of his time in his room, practicing his singing and composing ballads.

Life Story : Allegustin was born on Ruathan lands to Allestin and Segusia, members of a small hold that focused on runnerbeast breeding. Allegustin's birth was extremely hard on his mother and, when it became apparent that she would be unable to bear more children, both parents lavished love and attention on their only son. Early on it became obvious that their child was meant for more than caring for runners. At the age of four he picked up a pipe and began to play basic tunes, his tiny fingers easily manipulating the holes. By six he had become accomplished at the gitar and on his eighth birthingday he presented his proud parents with his first ballad. His soprano voice was so enchanting that he drew the attention of the masterharper stationed at Ruatha Hold. Master Pavori took the promising lad under his wing and taught him as much as possible in the three Turns they were together.

When he came of age to begin an official apprenticeship, he was sent to the Harper Hall where he was immediately inducted and set on a course of independent study. The Turns passed quickly as he buried himself in his music, his main focus on singing, becoming a favored student of Mastersinger Drusylja. Then puberty hit and for a while there was serious doubt he would be able to continue singing, but everyone concerned was relieved when his voice settled into a beautiful alto after several tense months. When he reached sixteen Turns of age his mentor's health began to suffer and the ailing woman transferred to the new Harper Hall at Thread's End Hold. Allegustin followed, eager to continue his training under such a superb teacher. His promotion from apprentice to Journeyman was a mere formality a Turn later and since then he has been in constant demand from Holders who want the best to sing at their Gathers and special occasions.
