Physical Description : Anfad is a short man, standing barely five feet six inches. Once flaming red hair is beginning to thin and is salted with white. At 47, his frame is still covered with lean muscle that has not begun to go to fat; and he is as quick on his feet as he was at age 30.

Personality : The red hair atop his head warns of a temperament that can be volatile, although his judgement in a crisis is always sound. Loyalty to his employer is absolute.

Life Story : Born in the north to a cotholder, he felt a need to roam, accepting positions as he found them in various small holds. As his skill with weapons and leadership increased, he found himself welcome at larger Holds and served the Lady Jianna in the north. Still single, he has always vowed his "craft" precludes taking a wife. When Jianna called for holderfolk to people the new Hold in the south, he volunteered and was one of the first to arrive.
