| BLUERIDER A'RIL |
![]()
Persona : A'ril
Writing Status : NPC/Free
Age : 24
Gender : Male
Rank/Craft : Bluerider, Wingrider (UFLT)
Residence : Ierne Island Weyr
Physical Description : A'ril is tall and stocky, with chocolate brown skin and wiry black hair. He can always be found at the elbow of whomever is pouring from a wineskin, and walks with the kind of swagger that only a bluerider in good spirits can manage.
Personality : A'ril considers himself the life of any party - and is often right. There are few who can match him for sheer cheerfulness in any situation.
He has a ready stock of off-color jokes to add to any gathering, and is considered the unofficial bookie of Left Tip - always willing to establish odds on any event and more than happy to take your marks when he bets. He lives very much with the philosophy that if he doesn't live now, he never will.
Life Story : Born and bred in the Weyrs, A'ril saw the life of a dragonrider up close and personal, and learned that sometimes the best thing to do is just to close your eyes and keep moving. Brought as a toddler to the newly founded Thread's End Weyr, A'ril grew up on the beaches there. He was Searched in due time, but stood several times on the Sands before Falliath hatched and he Impressed.
They transferred to Ierne Island Weyr several months after its' founding, and have settled in nicely.
Dragon's Name : Falliath
Dragon's Colour : Blue
Dragon's Age : 8
Sire/Dam : Transfer
Rider's Age at Impression : 16
Physical Dragon : Falliath is a muted slate blue in color, with very little variation in tone over his body. His size is average, though his head looks somewhat large on his neck. He has several small Threadscore scars, but nothing that has kept him out of the air for long.
Dragon's Personality: Falliath is a randy as a blue can be - he tends to chase every green who rises, and some of the golds just for good measure. He is a huge gossip, much to the chagrin of his rider, but has a dragon's trademark short memory, which means that he forgets as easily as he tells.
