Physical Description: A'rin is 6'3" tall, 200 lbs. He has hazel eyes that darken with his mood, red-brown hair, and fair skin which tans easily and then lightens easily. His shoulders are broad and he is lean with muscly legs. He's very good at swimming and running, and loves athletic competition. A'rin's got very fast reflexes and is relatively strong even compared to men his size.

Personality: A'rin is generally calm and happy but has a quick temper. He is rather stubborn at times though not quarrelsome. He comes up with wacky ideas for "fun" pastimes that his friends dread. He seeks mental stimulation from activities and his friends, and is rather contemptuous of those not so quick witted.

Life Story: Aiderin grew up in a minor Igen Hold with his small family. His parents were always bickering but their love for each other held them together. Aiderin grew up expecting this deep connection from his friends and hence assumes slight misunderstandings will be smoothed out by the bond. His quick temper means he has frequent tiffs with his close friends but they always make up quickly and forget easily.

Aiderin had always been impressed by physical attributes and the raw energy emanating from dragonriders attracted him at an early age. He was candidate for two Turns before he Impressed Wildreth at Thread's End Weyr.

During his Weyrling days, his name was contracted to A'derin by the Weyrling Master but the bronze dragonet had definite preference for A'rin, and A'rin has been his name since.

A'rin had become Wingleader at Igen Weyr before coming home to Thread's End Weyr and is held in high regard in both Weyrs.

Once arrived at Thread's End Weyr he was quickly promoted to Wingsecond, then Wingleader, and then as an important wing-filler which required him to be a Wingsecond again.

Although A'rin has had serious relationships in the past, he unashamedly delights in the charms of a number of weyr women.

Physical Dragon: Wildreth is a rich bronze of 125 feet length and 209 feet wingspan. He is among the biggest bronzes but his quick mind allows him to manoeuvre as quickly as the smaller dragons. His superior strength accounts for this also.

Dragon's Personality: Wildreth is quick minded and very serious. He does not joke very often but is not condescending of those who do, which includes his rider. He seems to be a reflection of the ultimate level of A'rin's leadership qualities.
