Physical Description : Arvesa has long dark hair and blue eyes. Her lips are too full to match her small nose, delicately winged eyebrows, and hollow cheekbones. She has a scar that defines her right cheekbone. She is 5'10. Her figure is scrawny, rather than willowy.

Personality : Arvesa is friendly, but reserved. She doesn't easily trust people. Arvesa is quiet spoken, which can make it difficult to know when she is angry. She takes a long time to release grudges. But when someone is on her good side, she is warm and loyal.

Life Story : Arvesa was born in a minor hold at Ista. She is the youngest of three children borne by Revesa, Journeywoman Harper. Her father, Arves, was a sailor who died at sea. The other children were Vesarve and Saravesa. When Arves died, there were rumors that he indulged in pirate activities. Revesa became so upset by these rumors that she took her children and transferred back to the HarperCraft Hall at Fort Hold. There, she raised them until Vesarve Impressed a brown and became V'arve, rider of brown Branketh. A turn later, Saravesa Impressed green Peryth. The same turn V'arve and Branketh transferred to Ierne Island Weyr, Saravesa and Peryth died during Fall.

Surprisingly, Arvesa was never Searched by Fort Weyr dragons, so she and Revesa were together for a long time. She was very happy as an apprentice harper. She sang well, but she was better with the pipes and gitar. She liked teaching. When Arvesa walked the tables, she was asked to take a position at Thread's End HarperCraft Hall. Revesa went with her. It was there that Arvesa met Journeyman Harper Farwin and immediately fell in love. But it took awhile to earn his love and receive his proposal. Arvesa thought she was too old to be Searched until she was discovered by a green and her rider.

Dragon's Description : Miath is a petite gold. The hide on her back and legs is a dark shade of gold that is seen in the Pern sky when Rukbat sets. The membrane of her wings are a lighter shade of gold. The tip of her tail tends to curl. That is also a lighter shade of gold. Her underbelly has the same light shade, but is speckled with spots that match the shade of gold on her back. Arvesa often wonders if the spots will fade when Miath is fullgrown.

Dragon's Personality : Miath has a lot of perseverance and determination which was shown at the time of her hatching. She is fascinated by the life around her. She enjoys the attention as the Weyr's youngest queen unless she is irritated by a need that hasn't been met, like hunger or an itchy hide.

She is as curious as a weyrbrat. Occasionally, she likes to eavesdrop on conversations other dragons have with their riders. Her curiosity is a disciplinary challenge for Arvesa and the other queens.
