Physical Description : Asre is just over 67 inches tall and a slender and flexible build. Her wild, unruly black hair is usually pulled back at the nape of her neck and her eyes are pale grey-blue. Her face isn't quite a perfect oval because of defined chin. Most often she wears sensible trousers of black or tan and a blouse in a variety of different colors, though dark blue is her favorite.

Personality : Asre was a quiet, drawn back sort of woman, content to serve as a harper in the background. Around those she is comfortable with, she will display a wider range of emotion. It might take awhile for her to warm up to people, but once she does she's a true and loyal friend. Since impressing Qufleth, Asre is more willing to put herself forward. She knows nothing can break the bond she has with her dragon, and that gives her a great deal more confidence.

Life Story : Asre's mother died when she was young, and her father remarried when she had six turns. Asre's father was a man with a temper. Though he never physically struck out at them, Asre and her stepmother Inareey formed a strange kind of bond through trying to protect each other despite often being at odds. When she had 12 turns, Asre's stepmother pushed for her to be apprenticed to the harper hall. Asre accepted this form of escape. Inareey gave Asre a green firelizard egg before she left for the hall, and Asre named the flit Strings. She walked the tables and became a journeywoman at the age of 18 and was posted at Dolphin Hall for a time then to Threads End Harper Hall. During this time, her father passed away, and she and her stepmother found themselves parting with a new understanding of each other.

Asre was shocked but excited when she was Searched for a clutch at Irene Island Weyr. She asked Inareey to come see the Hatching, and Inareey stood proudly among the spectators when Asre Impressed green Qufleth. With her dragon at her side and her stepmother's support, she looks forward to the life ahead of her as a dragonrider. She's developed a deep friendship with another weyrling, brown rider J'han.

Dragon's Description : Qufleth is averaged sized, for a green, if a bit wiry. Her hide is the color of dark jade stone with specks of lighter jade color on her flanks. Her subtle mix of colors is pleasant to the eye, at least as far as Asre is concerned.

Dragon's Personality : Qufleth is a curious young dragon, forever sniffing at Asre's things. She loves music, perhaps because Asre is a harper, and likes to drift off to sleep at night to the sounds of Asre's gitar. She doesn't seem to mind that there's really not much about her to really set her apart from other greens. She is just as a green dragon should be. She finds Strings extremely curious and amusing.

Pet's Description : Strings is a hyper little flit that is, simply put, a bundle of nerves. She's a mischievious little thing as well, and not a few of Asre's smaller belongings have disappeared for a short time before the flit decided to return them. She is, however, a loyal little creature and oft times affected by both Asre and Qufleth's moods.
