Physical Description : Astrala is typical height for her age. She is of medium build and has dark brown hair and hazel (brown-green)eyes. Her skin seems to be permanently tanned from long hours in the sun and she rarely burns. She often keeps her hair long and down, pulling it back into a quick braid when she swims.

Personality : Astrala is rather quiet and reserved. She will argue her case in certain situations, however. She doesn't talk much, but listens well. She wants to become a Dragonrider, but she doesn't think she has much chance. Astrala is a very good swimmer and when around the dolphins, she seems to relax some. Rather wary of others, Astrala doesn't make friends easily, but would never purposely be cruel to anyone or anything.

Life Story : Astrala came to the DolphinCraft Hall at the age of fifteen. She claims to have come from Southern Hold, deciding to leave after being wrongly accused of stealing the fire lizard egg (which she had saved from a wild green's clutch) that her fire lizard, Setra, hatched from. Astrala had convinced her father, a moderately successful fisherman, to allow her to accompany him on his next trip to a different hold. He had been leery at first because of his daughter's low standings in the hold, but he had at last conceded, if only to allow her a chance to prove herself. The next trip happened to be one to Sonnette's Dawn Hold, the closest hold to the Dolphin Hall. Upon arrival, Astrala managed to slip away and make the short trip to the Dolphin Hall. Once there, she hoped to be accepted as an apprentice. Once she was accepted, she returned to the hold to tell her father. Astrala didn't know if he would be there or not, but if he was, she wanted to tell him the news. He was gone, however, and she returned to the Dolphin Hall to start her work as an apprentice. Astrala hopes that she has finally found a place where she can be accepted, all the while keeping an eye out for her father.

Pet Description : Normally silently watching from Astrala's shoulder, Setra is quiet for a green. She likes to swim with Astrala, but will scold if gotten wet otherwise. She will also champion her friend in fights. She will often let arguments run their course, however, finding a safe perch to watch from.
