Physical Description : Avla is a slight girl, standing at 4' 7" and barely weighing a hundred pounds. Her hair is black, which she keeps short so it may fit easily in her riding helm. She has a small, diamond-shaped birth-mark on the back of her neck. Her gray eyes are rarely seen as she is almost constantly looking down while in the presence of others.

Personality : Avla is a shy girl, almost always speaking only if spoken to. She prefers the company of herself and Mith, her green. Since her Impression, Mith has managed to get Avla to open up to a few people, which has helped her confidence tremendously. She has a speech impediment, which causes her to stutter slightly when nervous, which, unfortunately, is very often. Avla is in love with forests, and spends most of her free time there, enjoying the natural beauty.

Life Story : Avla was born at Sonnette's Dawn Hold. Back then she was extremely shy; her parents had to beg her to come out when the Traders came. Because of this shyness, Avla almost never became a Dragonrider. When the Search came to her hold, she stayed inside, not wanting to be embarrassed when they did not choose her.. At the last second, something inside urged her to go out, and she finally did, sure that she wouldn't be chosen. She was wrong.

At the Hatching, Avla was shocked and overjoyed when she Impressed the Green Mith. Avla and Mith spend most of their free time in the forests, though Mith has convinced Avla to attend several Market Days and Gathers.

Physical Dragon : Mith's hide is a dark, forest green, with splotches of light green around her spine and tail. The membrane of her wings is also a dark green, though more mottled. Her coloration allows her to easily hide in the forests she and Avla frequent. Mith is average-sized for a Green.

Dragon's Personality:Mith has mostly the same personality as Avla, though she is a little more outgoing and persuasive. Because of this Mith has been able to convince Avla to go to several Gathers, helping her confidence tremendously.

Mith also loves forests, like Avla, and loves to spend her free time there.

Pet Description : Shadow is a dark-furred lupine-like canine that Avla found one day in the wild and nursed back to health. He is about the size of an average wolf. Two of his teeth are chipped, but he doesn't seem to mind. Shadow is rambunctious, and loves to play whenever Avla and Mith are at the Weyr. He would do anything to protect Avla and Mith, who helped him when he was hurt. And fed him!
