Physical Description : Avonja is 5'9" with long, naturally curly auburn hair, startling blue eyes and legs that don't quit. Having lived in the shadow of a gorgeous mother, Avonja is quite beautiful but doesn't realize it. Her friends say that, although she is beautiful, her smile is her best asset. They like the way it lights up her face and reaches into her eyes. Avonja has a svelte, well-toned build which she ensures to clothe with better than average materials.

Personality : Avonja is a dependable rider and friend, well liked because ofher easy-going personality. She isn't really at a loss for men desiring to share her bed although she DOES tend to limit bedding pleasures to a select few dragonriders. Avonja has a strong sense of duty and a decent work ethic. She believes any task worth doing is worth doing well. As a dragonrider, she doesn't figure to live long and enjoys life to the fullest knowing that on any given Threadfall day, it could be her last. Her favorite vice is dragon poker, at which she excels.

Life Story : Born at Fort Weyr, Avonja is the only offspring of a Bronzerider/Lower Caverns worker liaison. Her mother, Avorria, is an extremely beautiful woman possessing all the assets men desire. Avorria learned early in her life that dragonriders would pay the odd mark or so for the pleasure of her company in their beds. She therefore spends her time at Fort Weyr doing as little as possible.

Avonja grew up with a long string of various "Uncles" who doted on the beautiful youngling, teaching her various skills and giving her gifts (the main reason her mother didn't foster her away). From her mother, Avonja learned to be particular about her appearance, with an eye for beautiful clothing as well as how to charm and please people.

At fourteen Turns, her mother decided to "teach" her about men and how to use them to avoid having to do actual work. Several of Avonja's "Uncles" had instilled in her a sense of duty and work ethic so, after her "lesson", Avonja decided it was time to find another place to live. She used what she had learned from the "lesson" to gain transport to Thread's End Weyr from a young Bronzerider and began a life of happy service in the kitchens and Dining Caverns. She was Searched and stood the Sands twice as a Candidate, but not Impressing. After the second rejection, Avonja moved to Ierne Island Weyr, where she was again Searched and this time, found Umbreth waiting for her.

Physical Dragon : Umbreth is a middle sized Green with a slightly oversized wingspan. Her hide is predominantly a deep forest green, gradually growing to alight pastel green along her underbelly. Her wing sails are the same color as her underbelly, speckled with deep forest green

Dragon's Personality: Umbreth is fun loving and extra flirty, even for a Green. She adores the attention the male dragons are apt to give to her - much to Avonja's chagrin. The Green is ever eager to please her rider and any person/dragon in authority (almost to a fault) and tends to be an early riser (much to Avonja's dismay). When it comes to fighting Thread though, Umbreth is all business, flaming with great efficiency and accuracy.
