Physical Description : Bellia is a rather large boned woman, who can be pretty if she sets her mind to it, but rarely does. She has short black hair cut close to her scalp, dark brown almond shaped eyes, with a slightly olive skin tone.

Personality : Bellia has very little confidence in her social skills, but she tries to be outgoing, which often results in inappropriate comments, and awkward silences. She has a head for numbers and patterns, which comes in useful in fighting Thread, but she counts that as a minor skill, as she envies the sparkling personalities of many around her. She is awed by the talents of Harpers, and often becomes completely silent in their company. With her fellow dragonriders, she's a bit more relaxed, but does best when interacting with someone on a one-to-one basis.

Life Story : Just barely born in a new Thread's End Hold, to farmer parents just arrived from the north. As a child, Bellia enjoyed working on her parents farm, with the most enjoyment coming from the time she spent with the various animals her parents kept. As Bellia entered her teens, she was rather content with her life, and was trying to decide between 2 equally interesting paths, to marry a neighbor boy and start their own farm from land given by both families, or to apprentice as a Beastcrafter. The decision was taken out of her hands when she was found on Search at age 15. Due to her fairly solitary nature, her adjustment to weyrlife was a bit difficult. Though it took her 3 turns to Impress, she is glad she stayed at the Weyr. Since Impressing Notteth, she has tried to open up some to some fairly disastrous results. She does have a few friends, mainly male greenriders.
