Physical Description : B'kin is a small man with dark hair almost black. He sports a short beard which seems to make his bright blue eyes stand out in his darkly tanned face. He is whip-thin and promises to keep his slim form into old age.

Personality : B'kin is a generally happy man. The result of a mating flight between a green and a brown rider, he grew up the usual weyrbrat, managing to get into more scrapes and adventures than many of those in his age group. While impression and the responsibilities of fighting thread have sobered him as the years passed, still he retains a zest for life that makes him a welcome companion.

Life Story : B'kin, born Berikin, was born in the north and grew up a typical weyrbrat, assuming that some day he would impress a dragon of his own. His expectations were met the first time he was searched and stood on the sands. He thought he was content to put in his time of service to Pern in the north, but when Ierne Island opened and the call went out for riders to populate the new Weyr, he felt a suprising longing to see new territory, and he transferred immediately.
