Physical Description : Calandra has dark brown hair that reaches her shoulders in messy waves. Her keen brown eyes observe the world around her, but Calandra's callused fingers often tap to a melody only she hears and give the impression of a harper lost in musical thought--a demeanour that is often useful on the job when subtle observation is required. Calandra is more on the curvy side than completely slender, and is of average height. She is generally soft-spoken, however, her soprano voice can capture an audience when Calandra sings.

Personality : Calandra is quietly ambitious; her great love of music drives her to succeed in her craft and she constantly works to improve her skills. She is reserved but not aloof and often prefers to stay in the background rather than be the focus of a room. The only time when Calandra does not mind the attention is when she is performing and can get lost in the music. Her patience is appreciated by her students, and she clearly enjoys sharing her love of music with them.

Life Story : Calandra grew up in Ista before she was accepted into the Harper Hall at Fort. Before she left Ista, her foster parents presented Calandra with a shell necklace to remind her of home, and this is one of the few things, other than her instruments, that Calandra truly treasures. She walked the tables at 18 and continued on at the Hall for a few turns instructing paying students and harper apprentices. Calandra was then transferred to Lemos Hold where she met the other love of her life, a Journeyman Woodsmith named Liadronel. Calandra and Liadronal were married and later had a son named Caldronel. Due to both Calandra's and Liadronal's responsibilities, they fostered Caldronel with Liadronal's half-sister.

Although Calandra loved her position at Lemos, she always wanted to continue her own development as a harper. Both Calandra and Liadronal were curious about the Southern continent, and they transferred to Thread's End HarperCraft Hall at the beginning of Turn 39.
