Physical Description : C'las is fairly tall, with long legs to assist him in mounting his dragon. He has choppy black hair that always finds a way into his brown eyes, unless confined in a riding helmet. He has tan skin and a trim figure, due to his preference to swimming exercises. He has a velvety baritone voice, but can't sing well. If in a crowded room, one can almost always tell him apart from the others because of the mischievous gleam in his eyes and bright smile. He has the smoothness in his stride that speaks to his dancing abilities.

Personality : C'las is a genuinely nice dragonrider, unless circumstances force him to bite off a nasty comment or two. He is typically in control of his emotions, and prides himself in being able to maintain his calm composure. He loves to laugh, and often finds that he is doing so at himself, as he can sometimes trip over his own two feet if nervous.

Life Story : Born Culas, he was the third of many in a large family. He was practically raised by his three older sister, since his mother was preoccupied with the duties of a cotholder's wife. He had a very good childhood despite this, but decided to move to Ista Weyr with his oldest sister and her husband.

When C'las was sixteen Turns, he was Searched to stand for an egg on the Istan sands. He accepted the offer and Impressed a brown dragon by the name of Apollith. During his weyrling classes, he was a frequent contributor to discussions, as he picked up a great deal of information very quickly. He graduated with the rest of his class, settling into an easy routine within his wing in the Lower Flight.

When he was nineteen, he asked his greenrider lover to marry him, intending to make his own family. However, these plans were thrown into the wind when he saw her die from a severe Scoring. For the next Turn, he mourned her death, attracting the attention of his wingleader. The man persuaded C'las to transfer to Thread's End Weyr, in the hopes that he would find new, good memories to replace the bad ones residing at Ista.

C'las accepted, and, swept up by his new duties, soon forgot his sorrows.

Physical Dragon : Apollith is a deep earthy brown, with a lighter brown coursing along the length of his spine. He maneuvers well on the ground, and better in the air, due to his slightly smaller size.

Dragon's Personality:Apollith is the perfect dragon for C'las. He is just as talkative as his rider, and very easy-going. He is determined, though, to be as good as any other dragon. He is a fairly good Search dragon, understanding the children he tests on a level deeper than most. He is better at Searching men than women, however.

Pet Description : Pounce is a gray, tabby striped feline that has a tendency to hunt down any tunnelsnake she hears. She is a feisty feline, and is fairly small for her breed. She can be quite mischievous, liking to attack anything she can't identify as belonging to anyone. She has a bell-like meow, and sleeps either on C'las' cot or with Apollith.
