Physical Description : Corvis is petite, only 5'1" tall. She is quite slim with small hands and feet. She has thick, shoulder length, curly russet coloured hair that is a bit unruly at times; Corvis usually wears it in a low bun while she is working. Her skin is fair and she has a light sprinkling of freckles across her nose and cheeks. Her soft blue eyes are fringed with long lashes and almost seem too large for her slender face.

Personality : Corvis has always lacked in self confidence, mostly due to the fact that she can be incredibly accident prone and clumsy. At the Fort Healer Hall she earned herself the nickname of 'Catastrophe Corvis.' She doesn't like conflicts and tries hard to keep everyone happy. Softly spoken, thoughtful and considerate, she is a natural healer who will do well in her craft if she can overcome her clumsiness.

Life Story : Corvis's mother, an unranked resident of Fort Hold, died of childbed fever not long after Corvis was born. One of the healers gave her to a woman whose own baby was stillborn. Her foster mother, a seamstress, and her foster father, a weaver, lived at Fort Hold. They never told Corvis that she was fostered and raised her like she was their own daughter. Her foster father died when she was only six turns old. She lost her foster mother to a lung ailment when she was 14.

On her death bed, her foster mother, worried for Corvis's future, finally told her foster daughter the truth about her birth and urged her to seek out the same journeyman healer that had placed Corvis into her care. The journeyman, now a masterhealer, immediately admitted Corvis to the Healer Hall as an apprentice. She had been a struggling, bungling apprentice for ten turns when she received a sudden and unexpected posting to the Southern Woodcraft Hall and a curious upgrading of her rank to journeywoman.

She transferred to Sonnette's Dawn Hold at the same time as Senior Journeyman Redveir, her mentor and so far the only healer who has the patience to deal with her daily disasters around the infirmary.
