Physical Description : Crochan is a man of medium height; turns of fine eating have 'rounded' his figure. He might best be labeled 'portly.' His hair, once dark, is a salt and pepper that matches his short beard.

Personality : Crochan is a cheerful person, very in tune with the soil and growing things. Turns of farming have not lessened his enthusiasm for seeing living things sprout from the ground, and he is delighted to be living in the south where his labors are protected by the grubs.

Life Story : Crochan grew and progressed through classes no faster or slower than the average boy until he became apprenticed to the farmcraft. There he fairly flew threw his lessons and earned a Mastership at the age of 30. He welcomed the offer of a posting in the south, where he believes, and rightly so, that he can be more creative in the craft. He arrived at Green Ridge Hold soon after construction began, his purpose to direct all aspects of the Hold's farming.
