Physical Description : Elea has long red hair that she usually pulls back into a single braid to keep it out of her face, and secretly, her hair is her one vanity. She has a curvy figure that she does not try to accentuate. She usually wears a simple tunic belted at the waist and a skirt. When Gather time arrives though, she likes to get dressed up and have her hair done. She has a round face that is neither plain or beautiful, and a smile that lights up rooms.

Personality : Being a harper, Elea has learned about being among people and being in the spotlight, but she has never been one to immediately attract attention when she walks in a room. She loves being a people watcher and uses this ability to write songs and inspire her music. She tends towards melancholy but loves to laugh. She loves people but has little patience with the rude or superior. She is not afraid of defending herself or her friends. She is a completely loyal friend, which is why she does not make close friends easily. She loves children, which is why she considers the teaching aspect of her job a perk. She can be a little "teacherly" because she wants her students to excel but she always has time for her students when they need to talk or need help.

Life Story : Elea's family was one of the first settlers of Thread's End Hold, moving there when Elea was still a toddler. Life was hard, and Elea's father was insistent that regardless of age, his family would work to support themselves in this new wilderness. The family had very few pleasures, but in the evenings her mother would sometimes pull out her old harp and sing as many of the harper songs as she could remember from when she was an apprentice. This early exposure to music left a definite impression on the young Elea who could often be found doing her chores while singing the old songs to herself. The local harper had taken note of Elea's talent and had recommended to her parents that she be allowed to apprentice with the Harper Hall, but her father refused. He insisted he needed all the hands he could get with the cothold and could not spare a daughter to pursue frivolous dreams when she could better serve her family staying where she was. When Elea was 17 turns old, her father was struck with a withering sickness and died. Elea, being among the youngest of her siblings, was given a choice. The family's cothold was split between her eldest brother and his wife and her eldest sister and her husband. She could either stay on with either family until she was married or she could try to be admitted to any Crafthall that would accept her. She managed to get a message to the Harper Hall at Thread's End Hold and was accepted with the help of her old harper friend. She was sent to the main Harper Hall on the Northern Continent for her first two turns as an apprentice but found things there difficult for such an old apprentice. It was decided that she should be transferred to Sonnette's Dawn Hold to finish her apprenticeship under the tutelage of Master Lazaria. Under Master Lazaria, Elea really blossomed as a harper and as a person. Elea felt always challenged by the Master's instruction but also felt supported as well, which greatly influenced her own teaching method. Before Elea knew it, she was being sent to Thread's End Harper Hall to walk the tables as a Journeyman and was sent to Thread's End Hold as her first assignment. She has been based out of Thread's End Hold the last couple of Turns, doing a lot of journeying to the more extended cotholds in the area. It was only recently that she found herself back at the Hold teaching Hold children.

Pet's Description and Personality : Charmer is a black and white, spotted, short haired feline. He adopted Elea after she fed him when he was hungry but insists that he remain outside when Elea is not home. When he has finished beating up other felines or catching small vermin around the Hold, he likes to curl up at the end of Elea's cot or cuddle in her lap.
