Physical Description : Elemetri is blonde and blue eyed. He's roughly 5'4" and has an average build, being neither terribly muscular nor totally weak. He tends to sunburn easily and generally wears loose, flowing clothing and a large, wide-brimmed hat (the better to keep the sun from his skin).

Personality : Elemetri is usually very easy to get along with. He can be fairly quiet and tends to go with the flow rather than state his own opinion or try to run things his way. He has no temper to speak of and maintains a mild, relaxed manner in the face of most sorts of adversity, from cranky students to irritated holders--both things he tends to encounter fairly often. He has a weakness for pretty ladies but has never made the mistake of getting involved with one who was going to cause him harm, deliberately or otherwise. When he is working, he is exceedingly professional, but most of the time one gets the feeling Elemetri is gliding through life without a care.

Life Story : Born in Southern Boll to your "typical boring, happily married holder parents who loved their children very much and cared for them well", Elemetri showed an early aptitude for painting and sculpting. He was forever decorating the margins of his lesson hides, the walls, and anything else flat enough to draw on. His parents considered a Harpercraft Apprenticeship for him but were daunted by his complete and utter lack of musicality. Still, when the time came for him to apprentice, Elemetri could think of nothing he'd rather do than draw--and his parents tried to find a way to fulfill his dreams. He was sent to the Fort Harper Hall and trained there as an artist. The harper who undertook his training saw that Elemetri had a fine eye for detail and turned the boy toward mapmaking as a measure of his skill. The Hall sends him all over Pern to map settlements and document progress. He has recently been assigned to Green Ridge to create the official maps of the new Hold and its environs.
