Physical Description : Beautiful and tall, with long brown hair and bright green eyes. Her face is soft, caring, and loving. She has a slender frame, but can hold her own when Fall comes.

Personality : She is kind and caring to everyone, but to an erring Apprentice she is not a person to mess with. She will go out of her way to help anyone, whether they ask for it or not.

Life Story : Encia was born and raised in Ista Weyr, her mother was a Greenrider and her father was a Harper. Because of her calm attitude and caring manner, Encia found that she had an attraction to the great dragons of Pern. At the age of 12, she became an Apprentice Dragonhealer. Throughout her Apprenticeship any dragon that came under her care, became quiet and calm, Encia made sure that they were always comfortable. A call had gone out for Dragonhealers at Thread’s End Weyr five Turns after her Apprenticeship began. A month later, she had walked the tables and went south to aid the dragonriders at the Weyr.
