Physical Description : On a shorter side for a man, he nevertheless has a well-toned physique. There are many bodies like his in the Weyr, though, and he has few features to make him stand out any more among the crowd other than his lively, hazel eyes and quick wits. He has a deep tan on a skin that was once much lighter and has now acquired a multitude of scars, including a wide patch of paler skin on his back from a particularly bad Fall not too long ago. Reddish-brown hair curls lightly on his head and is kept short. He is usually dressed well, though not in a particularly remarkable manner.

Personality : G'bin is easygoing and not given to extremes of emotions. After turns of Weyr life he has seen much pain and joy, experienced a loss with youthful uncontrollable grief, seen lovers and friends come and go, and learned respect and duty. He is friendly and active, easy to laugh and a good shoulder to cry on. He is responsible, and though never the center of attention, he is also very social. He likes spending nights with friends, and has no lack of marks for his skill and luck with cards. He knows how to calm tempers and is on good terms with most. His manner and ability to produce jokes for any occasion leave him with no lack of companions.

Life Story : G'bin spent most of his life in Thread's End Weyr and knows the Southern Continent better than most. He was born in High Reaches Weyr, though he remembers little of its lower caverns. As a youth he wanted to be first a harper, then a smith, and finally apprenticed as a healer but didn't stay on for more than a sevenday. Deciding he'd explore the South, he earned his passage and arrived in the new lands. He found them less hospitable than he expected and didn't get far in his travels. Life around the Holds was adventurous enough. He Impressed Nyvisieth after a turn of working and standing on the Sands in the Weyr. They made a wonderful fighting pair, though youthful negligence was a problem for a decade or so. His life was never dull and though it's hard for it to surprise him anymore, it never stops amazing him.

In recent turns he acquired a new weyrmate, L'far, to keep him on his toes. Though never a particularly inseparable pair they nevertheless have a stable, lasting relationship. G'bin is used to L'far's antics and temperament and doesn't mind pulling the man back to his feet every time he gets on some brown or bronze rider's nerves.

Dragon's Description : A stout little green, Nyvisieth considers herself the prettiest thing since the moons' first appeared. She's surprisingly maneuverable but gets tired very easily, making her rider extra careful as time progresses during a Fall. She has a short wingspan, heavy features, and short legs that make her waddle very awkwardly and force her to avoid walking when possible. She has a deep, shiny tone to her hide, long headknobs, and thin, pronounced eyeridges. She has a knowledgeable, elegant look to her head, and curves her neck just right to enforce the appearance. She also has an exceptionally long tail, which she likes to curl around herself like a feline.

Dragon's Personality : Nyvisieth is a sensible, calm green who makes a pleasant companion in conversation for her insight and funny observations. She has a good memory for daily details and very important past events, but unless it catches her fancy the rest is forgotten before the candlemark is through. Though not as flighty and flirtatious as some, she never lacks in admirers, which confuses many a female competitor.
