Physical Description : G'lin is a stocky, barrel chested man of middle height. He has dark brown hair and gray eyes. Although most dragonriders don't, G'lin cultivates a beard that he keeps short and well-trimmed to hide the horrible Thread scars that mass over the lower part of his face.

Personality : G'lin used to be a happy man, until he and his dragon were caught by a clump of Thread blown their way during a terribly windy fall. His dragon took the brunt of the clump, a fact that G'lin feels guilty about. In the years since the accident, G'lin has turned sour, bitter and silent. Unable to blame his fellow dragonriders who didn't sear the clump, yet wanting to, he envies them their wholeness and then hates himself for feeling that way, too.

Life Story : Gorlin was brought up in a small seahold in Tillek. He had apprenticed to the Fishercraft Hall in Tillek before he was Searched and Impressed his blue Lutenth.

Physical Dragon : Lutenth is a pretty sky-blue dragon, a little on the large side for a blue. Lutenth has a lot of eye damage to his left eye and massive Thread scars on his head and upper neck. He can still see well enough to fly in the Gold Wing and is on permanent assignment to the wing.

Dragon's Personality:Lutenth is a happy blue. For all that he is injured, he persists in having a bright outlook on everything. He swears to his rider that he doesn't remember what it was like to see with both eyes. And even though sometimes he does remember bits and pieces, he would never tell his rider who he worries about a great deal.
