Physical Description : Grascien is a tall, somewhat ungainly lad, with black hair that nearly reaches his shoulders, and klah-coloured skin. He's on the skinny side, and usually looks a bit disorganised. When he finishes filling out, he'll be a large man, but that's some turns off yet.

Personality : Grascien's main personality traits are of the good-humoured, patient sort. He rarely has a cross word for anyone, and is generally affable and easy to get along with. Unfortunately, those characteristics also mean that he's something of a procrastinator and not really a leader; he's too content to go with the flow to really be the take-charge sort.

Life Story : Grascien was born at Southern Weyr; when Ierne Island Weyr was established, his parents were among those who made the move to the new weyr. Although he hasn't taken up a particular craft, he's made himself useful as he's grown up, doing various odd jobs around the weyr when and as required, and is known as a willing worker. He was searched for the double clutch late in turn 37, but failed to impress there or in Cassimeth's first clutch of turn 38; neither failure dented him, because he never quite believed that he was meant to be on the sands. That made brown Valeyarth's arrival even more of a shock when he stood for Sinevath's clutch.
