Physical Description : Hanya is pretty and nicely rounded, with straight brown hair that reaches her shoulders and warm brown eyes.

Personality : Hanya has learned that life as a Dragonrider can be very short, and that to love and lose is better than being alone all the time.

Life Story : Raised in a small cothold, Hanya was a very scatterbrained child. She was forever getting hurt in embarrassing places, usually simply because she didn’t pay attention to where she was going. She has since outgrown this clumsiness. Apprenticed first to the fishers, and then to beasthearders, Hanya was very glad to be Searched and taken to the Weyr, because, as she said, "The ovines were smelly and stupid and I got seasick."

She Impressed Liaweth from the clutch she was initially Searched for, and the two are happily Weyrmated to D’lan and Joth. Their daughter, Lanya, was born on t38.m08.d03.
