Physical Description : Jamilla stands at about 5'5" tall and is of average weight. She has thick, straight, bright red hair that hangs slightly below her shoulders and frames her round face. Jamilla is tan from the sun which helps to hide the enormous amount of freckils she has. She has bright green eyes that are usually full of laughter.

Personality : Jamilla tends to be the independent sort. She likes to do things on her own and will only admit she needs help when her options are limited. She has many friends that this habit frustrates to no end. Her family, though she loves them to death, smothered her as a child and very rarely let her do anything on her own. As a result, she tends to not want any help at all now which has caused her problems on a few occasions. She is usually open and friendly and easy to talk to, except when her green Neesiath is close to rising.

Life Story : Jamilla was born in Ista Hold, the youngest of four children. Her mother is a harper and from a very early age began to encourage Jamilla's music and teach her to play her pipes. She didn't mind her mother's teaching at all and very eagerly followed in her footsteps. Her father was a healer and very rarely home as he spent many hours at the infirmary. As the baby of the family, and the only girl, her three older brothers watched her like a hawk and between them and her parents, it was a wonder she ever learned to do anything. As an apprentice she was at least out of the cot, but that didn't stop them from keeping annoyingly close watch over her and trying to control her life in every way. When she turned fifteen she was searched and she began to hope that they would begin to see her as more of an adult and not a child. She knew they were just trying to help her and didn't mean any harm so she tried to just laugh it off. Unfortunately, even moving to the nearby wey r wasn't far enough away. They were there all the time and even her weyrlingmaster had pretty much told them, in a polite way, that Jamilla needed to concentrate on her studies. At least at Thread's End she won't have to see them and listen to their nagging and worrying constantly.

Physical Dragon : Neesiath is a medium green, with a darker muzzle and tail tip. She is a bigger green as she is almost the size of a very small blue. She is as friendly and open as her owner and can be quite the flirt when she wants to be.

Dragon's Personality:The big green tends to be a bit of a gossip. Jamilla will never be left out of anything if Neesiath has anything to say about it. She absolutely adores her rider. Her favorite things are being scrubbed and oiled and swimming.
