Physical Description : Jarmek is not a big man, but he's not exactly a weakling either. His ruddy brown hair is cut in a way that it just barely falls into his blue eyes. He has only one birthmark and that is on his left earlobe, making it look pierced. He has a beautiful smile that tends to be shown quite often.

Personality : Jarmek is a very cheerful person, though his eyes have a sad look. He is quick to make a joke and is talented at many things, giving him the opportunity to participate in almost any craft, though he enjoys Smithing best.

Life Story : When Jarmek was twelve, his father died when his clothing caught fire at the forge. Jarmek had been thinking about going into HarperCraft, but the death of his father inspired him to carry on his father's dream of having a mastersmith in the family. He reached Master status at the age of 31 and shortly moved to Thread's End because the weyr was in dire need of smiths.

Pet's Description: Shan was a gift from Jarmek's mother when he achieved the Master status. He is a curious lizard in that he is odd. He thinks he's human, though he loves dragons and other fire lizards. Shan follows Jarmek everywhere, even sitting on the shelf that holds forge equipment in Jarmek's makeshift crafthall.
