Physical Description : Jetelle is 5 foot 7 inches tall and has always been a little on the plump side because she loved to sample her own baked goods. With the physical work required of a dragonrider she has trimmed down, and has developed womanly curves and stance, but will never be thin and wiry typical of most dragonriders. She has very long curly hair, light brown with reddish-blond highlights, which she almost always wears twisted back off her forehead then held in a double clip in the middle of her back.

She has brown eyes, in a round full face. Her front two teeth cross slightly giving her an unusual smile, but her smile is genuine. She has a burn scar on top of one wrist from her apprenticeship in the baker craft, when she touched the top of an oven while removing a sheet of bubbly pies.

Personality : Jetelle is generally a good natured person. She loves animals and children, as well as to experiment with new pastries and other sweets. She is the model of patience with others. However, she is always quick to criticize her own work if it is not as perfect as she imagined it to be. Her lack of self-appreciation and self confidence her biggest fault.

Although she has always wanted one, Jetelle has never owned a pet. Both parents insisted that animals belonged outside. Never the less she has secretly fed any wayward feline, canine, or hungry firelizard that wandered her way, hopeful someday to have a pet of her own.

Life Story : Born in High Reaches, Jetelle is the oldest of 6 children, to Jeredalan, an assistant steward for High Reaches Hold, and Thesselle one of a multitude of hold cooks.

She was 10, when at the urging of her parents she began to work with her Uncle, a Master Baker at the hold. By 12 she had formally apprenticed in the Bakercraft. The rest of her brothers and sisters were all fostered early, so she didn't get to spend much time with her siblings.

Her Uncle, Master Baker Kaladane, was a perfectionist and refused to let anyone believe that he would promote his own family above another. So despite many years of hard work, Jetelle did not walk the tables to Journeyman until she was nearly 20. This lack of appreciation from her Uncle has led Jetelle to be overly critical of herself.

She had just been awarded her Journeyman's badge when she was informed that Green Ridge Hold was looking for a new Baker. She applied and was quickly hired. Jetelle is the first of her family to move south.

Two months after moving to Green Ridge Hold, Jetelle found herself the object of intense interest by a search dragon from Ierne Island Weyr, and a candidate for the next hatching. With great anticipation she stood the sands and beyond her wildest expectations, impressed the gold hatchling Iriseth.

Physical Dragon : Iriseth is a bright gold, deepening toward bronze at her wingtips. She is very compact and a bit smaller than normal at hatching. She will grow to normal size by adulthood.

Dragon's Personality:Iriseth is full of the self confidence that her chosen partner is lacking. She is also unusually patient pulling this characteristic from Jetelle. She has a remarkable memory for a dragon, and will often call riders by their name, despite her youth.
