Physical Description : J'falen is rather tall at 6'3" and is very wiry. He has dark hair and dark eyes, and his skin is slightly tanned. He has a few minor scars across his back from Thread, but nothing major so far. (Thank Faranth!)

Personality : J'falen is a fairly outgoing man. He makes friends easily as he tends to listen to what people have to say and not just talk. He is a definite 'people person.' He can be gruff at times, however, and if someone asks his opinion, they'd better be prepared to get it--whether they like his views or not. He is blunt in most situations, especially when his advice is sought, but he doesn't meddle in his friends' affairs. Though he likes to be around people and he has many friends, he is not one to feel the need to settle down with just one person.

Life Story : J'falen came to Thread's End Weyr as a child of seven turns, when his family moved south, and Impressed at Thread's End Weyr. He was born to a greenrider who fostered him out as a babe. He never knew his mother well, and knew his father even less. He was pretty much left to his own devices as a child, running around with the other weyrbrats, always enjoying life to the fullest. He never expected to Impress, but was not about to turn down the opportunity to stand on the sands when he was Searched at the age of 13 turns. He didn't Impress the first time, or the second, but the third time was the charm. He loves being a dragonrider and being at Thread's End Weyr. He's been in Centre Flight, Right Flank most of his Threadfighting life, and his wingmates trust him to watch their backs, even to the cost of his own.

Dragon's Description : Opaleth is a medium-sized blue, very light in color. His muzzle is slightly darker than the rest of him.

Dragon's Personality : Opaleth is just as outgoing as his rider and flirts with any green that will pay him attention. He loves being oiled and bathed and is in most ways a typical blue.
