Physical Description: J'hu is about 6'2", 200 lbs, with olive toned skin, brown hair and blue/grey eyes that change colour according to his mood. He has a muscular build that is a shade on the stocky side and he wears his hair short on the top and sides, allowing the back to grow longer.

Personality: J'hu is even tempered, laid back and prone to forgetfulness. He is slow to anger, but once fuelled it is a quiet, burning anger that can strike cold fear into those at whom the anger is directed.

Adventurous in spirit and known to take risks, J'hu has a sensitive heart and is deeply loyal to his friends. He has a dry, somewhat warped sense of humour and is somewhat shy with women, allowing his hidden passion to surface only during mating flights.

J'hu fights Thread all out and a tad on the wild side, but never out of control. Like most dragonriders, he tends to drink too much when he's depressed and is a very quiet drunk, morose in mood.

Life Story: Jehu was the fourth child of seven born to a middling sized cot hold (Dreysen Hold) beholden to Southern Hold. As the middle child, he tended to be overlooked, which suited him just fine. He always loved working with his hands and learned much about the tannercraft from his father. He also enjoyed riding the Hold's runner beasts, often too fast and wild for the comfort of any who were watching. He suffered quite a few broken bones, but those never kept him out of the saddle for long.

Jehu was Searched by dragonriders of Southern Weyr when he was thirteen, much to the surprise of the entire family. There had never been a dragonrider in their collective family histories. He was left on the sands the first time he stood, but impressed a brown dragonet the second time around.

J'hu and Charioth lived at Southern Weyr from the time of their Impression, where they fought in a wing that was strong in leadership. They later transferred to Thread's End Weyr hoping for better chances at promotion within the wings there. With the establishment of Ierne Island Weyr, J'hu's goal to become a solid wingsecond came to pass when he was promoted to fill the need for good riders at the new Weyr.

Dragon's Description: Charioth is the deep rich brown of freshly turned fertile soil. The sails of his wings are a lighter sandy colour brown. He has some Threadscore markings along his hide, but they are few in number. Charioth is middle-sized for a brown and quite agile for his size.

Dragon's Personality: Charioth is much like his rider in temperament. Nothing much phases him and he's never easily angered. He possesses quite the sense of humour and enjoys trading mental 'thwacks' with his rider during verbal/mental sparring. He has better memory than most dragons, remembering more than most people realise.

Charioth is wise for a dragon, probably to offset J'hu's occasional foolishness. He is extremely observant and accurate with predictions. He is also a sucker for a good scratching behind his eye ridges. Charioth is a very loving, courting, gentlemanly dragon who loves to woo the female dragons. He tries to get J'hu to be more passionate during times other than mating flights.

Pet Description: Fleet is a mid-sized green firelizard who is very quick on the wing. She adores Charioth and is quite the gossip since she's very nosy. She tends to see everything, including things J'hu would rather she didn't. She will take messages anywhere for almost anyone and, as a result, she knows many people and never really needs to beg a morsel of food.
