Physical Description : Kara has fiery red hair cut to a little below her chin, sparkling green eyes, and pale skin. Her height is 5 feet, 3 inches (much to her displeasure). She has a scar on her left cheek.

Personality : Kara is short tempered with a sharp tongue. She is quick to jump to conclusions, and acts rashly. Her flaws are tempered around animals, especially firelizards. She’s a quick learner.

Life Story : Life Story: Kara was born in Ruatha Hold. Her father was a journeyman mason named Kean. Her mother worked in the kitchen as a cook, her name was Sericea. Kara grew up happy, although she was always getting into small amounts of mischief. At the age of eight she fell when riding and landed on a bunch of sharp rocks, this is how she got the scar on her cheek. She then began training as a cook with her mother at eleven. At 14 her parents moved the family to Thread End’s Hold. She was not happy about this though, and began to get into more trouble than ever.

When her parents began talk of her marrying a journeyman in another hold, she out right rebelled, declaring war on them. At one time she tried to run away. She almost succeeded, but was caught in the act. Her parents then began forcing her to except this arrangement and hurried on with the planning.

Along the way Kara picked up her brown fire lizard she named Zind. One time as she was running away she found him, newly hatched, abandoned by his mother, and half dead from hunger. She fed him, nourishing him back to health. They were impressed instantly. Kara has never regretted this.

But Kara always harbored a secret wish to become a Dragonrider and face Thread. At fifteen her hopes were answered, when the dragomen came for search. They took her back to Thread End’s Weyr, where she waited for hatching as a candidate, always hoping to rise above what she has been given. Sadly she was not chosen at the hatching, but she stayed at Thread's End Weyr because she was afraid to go home. She apprenticed in Dragon Healing as she bided her time, sure that she should work with Dragons no matter what. She is now eagerly awaiting the new hatching, hoping to be chosen as a Dragonrider.

Physical Dragon : Carmenth is a jeweled green dragon, who shows much promise in devloping, but she is still just a werlying.

Dragon's Personality:Carmenth is a pacient, gentle soul except when it comes to feeding. She's cautious when it comes to her rider and other people. She likes to keep her rider to herself. Her abilaty to temper Kara is uncanny, and she is the only one who can fully get through Kara's tough outer shell.

Pet Description : Zind is a deep rich brown. He has a natural calming effect on Kara; more than most animals do. He is the exact opposite of her although, when someone gets Kara angry or threatens her, he gets very protective. He also does not like to share her attention.
