Physical Description : Standing at 5'6", Kerra sports tanned skin and toned muscles typical to a Southern Beastcrafter. She wears her auburn-brown hair at shoulder length, and often ties it back to keep out of her way while she works. Her wide eyes will change from a sea blue to a deep green, depending on what she wears and the lighting. Her lips are small but fit porportionately with the rest of her facial features. Before her husband's death she would been seen wearing clothing that complemented not only her eys, but the curves of her body. Since the loss of both Lafor and their unborn child, however, she has taken to wearing plain, shapeless clothes.

Personality : Until the death of her husband and child, Kerra was full of life and charm. Her face was always lit with a smile that reached her eyes, and she was quick to laugh. Since the unfortunate accident that left her life in ruins however, she has become withdrawn from other people besides her family. Only animals seem to be able to bring her out of her reserve, as if her love for them is the only thing keeping her going.

Kerra grew up in her father's cothold, helping with chores and learning about the canines he raises. When she was ten her parents gave her a canine pup to train herself. With her father's assistance she found that she excelled at the task. At her perents encouragement she continued to work with her father and his canines until she was twelve, when she began training with local Beastcrafters. After two years, her parents made arrangements for her to go North and finish her studies at the Beastcraft hall.

While in the North, Kerra walked the tables at age seventeen. She then remained at the Beascraft hall for two and a half more turns before returning to her father's cothold, now at Green Ridge Hold, where she continued to help her father with his canines. While at her father's cothold she spent much time observing their pack of canines and the interaction between the individual canines. Using these observations she began to alter her training techniques. The alterations were minor, but began to make a major difference in the canines she trained.

After almost five months at Green Ridge, Kerra met a local herder's son, Lafor. seven months later the twowere wed. The union did not last long, however, as after only four months into thier marriage, Lafor was killed during a herding accident. His distraught widow then discovered only three sevendays later that she was carrying his child. Tragedy strikes her again however, six months later when the baby is stillborn. Finding GreenRidge too full of painful memories that constantly plague her, Kerra decides to relocate to Sonnette's Dawn where she hope to start her life anew.
