Physical Description: Kilda has brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair that becomes quite curly when wet. She is tall for her age and has often been teased by her foster brothers since they have not yet reached her height.

Personality: She is not afraid of hard work and has been known to work longer and harder on the various items she must make for her craft. This is because Kilda loves her work and takes great care to do the best that she can. She is a bit of a dreamer but does not let this get in her way.

Life Story: Kilda was born at Thread's End Hold and has lived there all of her life. Her whole family is greatly involved with the Weavercraft with the exception of two of her brothers. Her mother specializes in lacework while her father is a tailor. Her older sister loves working with tapestries, and one day Kilda hopes to have these skills as well and often dreams of images she would like to depict.

Kilda also has one older brother and three foster brothers who are close to her own age. Kilda's foster brothers are all apprentice weavers, but her older brother had different skills and became a miner. She is currently an apprentice for the Weavercraft and hopes that one day she will walk the tables to become a Journeywoman -- and this way get the chance to see the rest of Pern. Kilda has often dreamed of what it would be like to be a dragonrider, but no one in her family had been Searched since her grandmother's time and Kilda believes she is unlikely to get that chance.

Kilda surprised her family when she was recently Searched for Wyth's clutch, and ended up Impressing the green dragon Erelanth. She is sad to be away from her family, particularly her foster brother Daven, and is still surprised that her dreams came true.

Dragon's Description : Erelanth appears as if she'll grow up to be a medium sized green dragon, but since she is newly hatched this may not be the case. Her hide is a dark kelly green colour.

Dragon's Personality : Erelanth is a very playful hatchling, and it looks as if she'll be quite the flirt when she's older. She absolutely adores her rider, and is very good at listening to what Kilda tells her.
