Physical Description : A small child who appears younger than her 10 turns, Kirtha has light brown hair and brown eyes.

Personality : Kirtha is very quiet and tends to internalize events rather than outwardly interacting, causing some to think she is rather stupid. Very stubborn, she is nevertheless very obedient towards her hard-working parents. She tends to be solemn and takes words of others quite literally, herself being a rather forthright child. Kirtha has an unusual ability with animals.

Life Story : Kirtha is the only child of parents Jurdon (Journeyman Farmcrafter) and Feana (apprentice harper). Raised on their farm-hold an hour's ride from Sonnette's Dawn Main Hold, Kirtha has no siblings, and she has had little opportunity to interact with other children except when there are general gatherings for celebrations or meetings. Mildly uncomfortable with the throngs of other children that are present at such times, she most often seeks out the company of whatever animals are in residence on the property, causing some concern to her parents. Her mother urged that she be fostered with her brother where she would have more interaction with other children, but, although Jurdon is sometimes poorly skilled at showing affection, Kirtha is the light of his life and he could not bear the thought of her being sent away. Kirtha's only thought of the future is that she apprentice as a beastcrafter when she comes of age.

She has been befriended by Sonnette’s Dawn’s Master Herder, Konnor, and by now he has come to love her as the child he would have had.

In turn 36 Jurdon opened a mill on the creek behind their cot; the venture was successful beyond his hopes, and family members have now joined them to help with tasks and share in prosperity, bringing with them a number other children with whom Kirtha has had to learn to cope.
