Physical Description : About 5'9", Korindon has rough-textured light blonde hair and grey-green eyes.  He walks with a slight limp, due to an injury he received in PP T20.  He keeps himself fit with short jogs every morning, and more strenuous exercises before the evening meal.

Personality : Korindon is tough but fair.  He dislikes intensely being contradicted, and all the Runners in the station have learned it's best to approach him alone if that's what they're going to do.  Shown that he is in error, Korindon will do his level best to correct the situation immediately. He has two children who are currently Runners in his station, but they get shown no special privilages.  He can be quick to laugh if something catches his fancy, and quick to anger if something arouses his ire.

Life Story : Korindon came to the Southern Continent early in the Pass (T6), with the Runners who were first laying the Southern Traces.  He was 14 Turns, and had just apprenticed.  When the need arose in PP T13 to establish a new Weyr, Korindon's family went to establish a station there as well. Korindon's grandfather Windethon was the original Stationmaster at Thread's End Runner Station.  At the age of 28 Turns, well into his journeyman period, Korindon ran afoul of an injured wherry that had managed to stumble onto the trace.  He escaped with his life, but his leg was permanently marked from where the wherry's claws had raked his calf.  The healers who examined it said it would likely continue to pain him for some time, and it was with a heavy heart that Korindon agreed to their demands that he stop Running.  Windethon had no intention of allowing his grandson to fall to depression, however, and began training the young man to be his successor, to which Korindon's wife Alacia wholly approved.  Windethon stepped down in T24, and Korindon has been Stationmaster since, with Windethon as his second until the old man's death in T30.
