Physical Description : Lern is 5' 11 with a wide chest and broad shoulders tapering into a fit waistline and strong pillar like thighs. He is light of foot for his size and has piercing silver-gray eyes that look as stormy as an impending Threadfall when he is crossed. He has coal black hair that is peppered through with silver, which he has kept just long enough to be put back in a finger length tail. His strength can be seen in his rippling muscles and the steely look in his eyes shows that he means business.

Personality : Lern is a loner and suited to his craft. He enjoys a challenge and strategy is his constant companion. He is often alone but things seem to have changed a bit for him here lately, he has found someone that seems to have been made for him. Only time will tell if his lone nature will allow another to be a part of his life. Although Lern is a fourth generation Hunter, he likes the finer things in life as well. A good skin of wine, a soft woman in his arms, and comfortable shoes.

Life Story : Lern is a fourth generation Hunter and his family has honed the craft to an art. He resides at Thread's End Harper hall because of the challenge it presents to him to hunt so near a Weyr. Lern's family lives in both the North and South parts of Pern, and he sees very little of them. He has a couple of brothers that are also hunters and one sister. They have all married and have children.
