Description : L'len has short, reddish brown hair that is already beginning to be shot through with gray along the temples. His eyes are a brownish-hazel, and he has an abundance of laugh lines at the corners of them. His features are craggy; his jaw squared, the bones of his face angular and sharply in relief, and he towers well over six feet. He moves with a lanky, loose-jointed gait, but a considerate nature slows his pace to accommodate any person with whom he is walking. The knuckles in his hands are prominent, and his fingers are long and slim, the nails clean of any grit or oil -- no mean feat with a dragon the size of Parlianth to care for. He dresses casually, not being a slave to any current fashions, but by the same token, what he wears is of good quality, although it usually shows use. On the whole, he is a man with a level head, comfortable with who and what he is and not particularly in need of the flattery of others to feed his ego.

Life Story : L'len served as Wingleader of Left Hind for many turns before O'rin won the flight for Weyr Leadership and passed Upper Flight Left Fore to L'len. L'len served as its Wingleader for over a turn, until a strip poker game with other riders of Left Fore and the Weyrwoman led to his demotion. Acting under misguided assumptions, he insulted Zaera, and was sent to fly fall in her Queens' Wing. After this punishment was served, Weyrleader O'rin sent L'len back to Left Hind.
