Physical Description : Lotch is an average sized man, muscular but not brawny. He has coal black hair that hangs in a curtain to the middle of his ears on either side of his head, being parted in the middle. He has shapely wrists and is faster than he looks. Lotch is a natural athlete and if not for his love of music he would have found a trade as a runner. He had a reddish brown callous in the left side of his neck from where his instrument rubs as he plays. He is a good looking man.

Personality : Lotch is a thinker and an analyst. Strategies and scenarios are always running through his head. This makes him a good music theorist and a skillful athlete. He is an honorable and honest man.

Life Story : Lotch's father was a runner in the North. He never knew his mother. Growing up, he picked up his father's need to always be traveling but also had his mother's musical abilities. He was taken with a fiddle they found in a trader's caravan and his father traded for it. Having a good ear, Lotch was able to figure out tunes after having a beginning lesson from one of the traders who played. His father sent him off to apprentice as soon as he was old enough. The harper hall found talent in his athletic prowess as there were very few that could beat him either running or wrestling. At a Gather during his journeying he met and fell madly in love with Barqua. Knowing he could not live a single day without her, he proposed and married her three days later. Both came south and have recently taken teaching jobs at the Harper Hall.
