Physical Description : M'cair is of average height, now finally losing some of the lankiness of his youth. He has light brown hair now showing more gray than he would like. He has light brown eyes.

Personality : M'cair has an even disposition although his eyes often show a twinkle of mischief, and he can be quick to make a teasing comment. His humble upbringing has kept him from developing the arrogance displayed by many dragon riders. Although enjoying the favors of the opposite sex, he has never taken a weyrmate nor formed a long-lasting relationship.

Life Story : Micair grew up at Keroon Hold, the son of a stable hand and a kitchen worker, with never a thought of doing more than either of his parents. To the surprise of all and the delight of his parents, he was Searched at age 16 and soon after Impressed brown Taminth. M'cair has spent most of his adult life at Igen Weyr, transferring early in turn 38, and the memory of his early life before threadfall seems almost a fantasy at times.
