Physical Description : Nedine is slender; not tall, but not considered short, either. She has long, fine light-brown hair that she keeps braided into a coronet. She has large, round light brown eyes that appear almost tawny when the light hits them and dark, pronounced eyelashes. Her voice is a pleasant alto.

Personality : Nedine, having grown up around five brothers, is a tough nut to crack. She's well-used to keeping her dreams and secrets to herself, though she has many of them. She has a fine hand for sewing and knitting and has spent hours at her mother's side, learning all she would need to know to someday manage her own hold after she married. Being Searched and Impressing Wisth changed her life. She's slightly unsure about herself in her new surroundings.

Life Story : Nedine is the youngest of six children, the only daughter of a former trader. She was born in Ruatha Hold and moved South with her family shortly after the announcement of Green Ridge Hold's establishment. Initially there was the possibility that Nedine would stay behind in the North, as a young man from a neighboring Hold was interested in espousing her, but he ended up taking another young woman to wife. Nedine, only thirteen Turns at the time, was relieved to not have to leave her family.

It came a great shock to both her and her family when she and her brother Bardran were both Searched for Sinevath's clutch at Ierne Island Weyr, one that included a gold egg. For Nedine, the possibility of becoming a dragonrider was both frightening and wondrous, but she hid her feelings well from all her fellow Candidates... except her brother, of course.

On M6 D8 T38, Nedine Impressed green Wisth. Since then her life has changed drastically, but she welcomes each new day and discovery with joy.

Physical Dragon : Wisth is the smallest dragon in the clutch, with a delicate bone structure that, in Nedine's eyes, makes her the prettiest green dragon ever shelled. Her hide is a soft, yellowy green, almost exactly the color of new grass.

Dragon's Personality: Wisth is calm and steady, like her rider. She is also inordinately curious, and peppers Nedine with questions, a habit which the young greenrider is hoping she'll outgrow.
