BLUE WEYRLING P'RDIN

Persona : P'rdin
Writing Status : NPC/Free
Gender : Male
Age : 18
Rank/Craft : Blue Weyrling
Residence : Ierne Island Weyr

Physical Description : Though of "only" average height, P'rdin has very wide shoulders and is otherwise built like an ox, thanks to a lifetime of working on a farm. He has simple, masculine facial features, lending him an almost blank look when he's not smiling or frowning. The former makes his deep brown eyes sparkle attractively, and the latter draws his brows together in a scary-looking scowl.

Personality : P'rdin may be a little slow to catch on jokes, but he's not a simpleton. He's not overly clever, but he is wise and takes to heart all that he learns. Moving from a little farm holding into a big Weyr has given him something of a culture shock so he has been even more quiet than usual, making the other Candidates mark him as "stupid as a draybeast" as well.

Life Story : Originating from the Northern Continent, Permardin moved with his newly handfasted wife down to the South when Green Ridge was opened. Although he is young, he was still considered adept enough to start his own small farm hold near the Main Hold. By working hard, he had managed to make a good start when the dragons came on Search and took him away. He isn't so worried about his wife, who can come live with him to the Weyr in the case he Impresses, but is worried about his holding, hoping that it is given to someone trustworthy who won't nullify all the work he put into it.

Dragon's Name : Utilth
Dragon's Colour : Blue
Dragon's Age : Less than a Turn
Sire and Dam : Bronze Charioth and Gold Aometh (IIW37-2)
Age of Rider at Impression : 18

Dragon's Description : Light blue in color, Utilth hatched as a normal-sized dragonet, but he's not growing as fast as the others are, despite P'rdin complaining about having twice the area of dragonhide to scrub each new day. It seems that Utilth will be on the smaller end of the blue size scale even when he grows up.

Dragon's Personality : Utilth is nothing if not easygoing, taking in stride most of the things that would make another dragonet stare in awe or start panicking. .
