Physical Description : R'dem is solidly built from Turns as a Minecrafter, heaving picks and hauling stone. His physique toned down a little during his time as a dragonrider but a person would be hard pressed to miss his tall, broad frame. The greenrider's black hair is cut to a length not usually favoured by male dragonriders, the fine locks the length from the top of his head to the lobes of his ears. His blue eyes seem particularly bright against his golden tanned skin.

Personality : R'dem is a seasoned dragonrider and has learned to cherish quiet moments in his fast-paced and danger ridden life. He is patient and as such often assigned in a mentor capacity to new riders in the wing until they settle.

R'dem is more solitary than the stereotypical greenrider and very rarely forms a romantic attachment to anyone. After Turns of watching weyrmates and friends fall victim to Thread, R'dem wonders if it's all really worth the pain. Having said that, he has not quite sunk into the depth of cynicism, mainly due to his optimistic dragon.

Life Story : Rosidem was born at Crom Hold to a long line of minecrafters. It seemed natural that he take up the craft of his forebears upon his reaching apprenticing age. Yet the deep darkness of the mines never held much appeal to Rosidem and his mother tried to speak on his behalf, knowing that her son had shown an interest in becoming a Runner with the ability to breathe clean air and run under the sky. Yet despite her pleas, Rosidem's father forbade it and Rosidem found himself working under tonnes of rock.

When he had not reached journeyman level by 23 Turns it began to be whispered that Rosidem must be slow of mind for not having been able to learn the skills needed to advance in rank, but in truth it was simply because Rosidem did not have the will to put his heart into the craft. It seemed to be fate, then, when two dragons arrived on Search for Telgar Weyr a few days after a particularly volatile confrontation between Rosidem and his father. Rosidem jumped at the chance to go to the Weyr and away from the underground world of the minecrafters.

Rosidem did not Impress at Telgar but instead travelled to the newly formed Thread's End Weyr with the dragonrider who Searched him, where his ability as a minecrafter could be put to use as the Weyr was slowly constructed by the new settlers.

Having been at the new Weyr for less than a Turn, Rosidem stood on the Hatching Sands and it was there that Weepth found him. It took a while for R'dem to get used to the idea that he was Impressed to a green and all that entailed but never once, from the day Weepth cracked her shell to this day, has he been anything less than hardworking as a dragonrider. In the course of 23 Turns R'dem has loved and lost weyrmates, including the man who Searched him, but he has gained experience that he tries to pass onto younger riders.

Physical Dragon : Weepth is on the bigger end of medium sized with a jade green hide that is marred here and there by the paler lines of Threadscore.

Dragon's Personality: One could be forgive for not believing that Weepth is 23 Turns old as she still acts, for the most part, like a green barely out of weyrling training. Depending on her mood on any given day, she may sometimes feel like passing on some of her experience to younger dragons but one should not count upon it.

Still, she proves to be an effective huntress when it comes to Thread, using her agility to flame Thread that would otherwise be missed by one of the larger colours.
