Physical Description : An older woman, but no less sharp for her advanced turns, Rocbetta still shows signs of the beauty she was in her youth. Her once shapely form carries extra padding at the waist and hips, and her chestnut hair is liberally streaked with gray, but her klah brown eyes sparkle with wit.

Personality : Rocbetta has a solid and dependable character, having outgrown the flights of fancy associated with youth. She is not easily flustered or angered, but once her temper has been roused, she is capable of holding a grudge for Turns. The undercooks in the kitchen make a competition of teasing Rocbetta because she weathers their pranks like a ship in a gale, only acknowledging their jest with a shrug and a roll of her eyes.

Life Story : She was born in a small cothold a stone's throw from one of the larger Northern Holds. Growing up the middle daughter in a crowded space meant there were always mouths to feed and pots to scrub, so Rocbetta spent most of her days assisting in the kitchen where she felt most at home. Her unflappable personality has made her invaluable to a long series of cooks who know that they can depend on her whenever disaster strikes, from escaping spit canines to flaming herdbeast.

Always willing to accept a new challenge, Rocbetta and her husband Drason (unranked oviner) agreed to come open the new Hold with the Lady Holder. She continued to prove herself a competent worker and was eventually promoted to the position of Head Cook when the opening became available.
