Physical Description : Rytara is a very short woman, almost as round as she is tall. Her hair is a dark brown threaded throughout with streaks of gray. Her green eyes are very warm and friendly with a myriad of laughter lines that attest to her usual joviality.

Personality : Rytara is a very friendly and caring individual. She is the first person to offer a helping hand when needed. She is very dedicated to her work and runs a very efficient kitchen, and the hold staff is happy to work for her.

Life Story : Rytara was born the second daughter of cotholders in the North. She led an uneventful life, finally marrying an older man who was an archivist for the local Hold. She worked in the kitchens of the Hold, eventually becoming the Headwoman's assistant. When her husband died of old age, she continued to work in the capacity of Assistant Headwoman. She had no children of her own so she was happy to foster when asked.

One child she became very close to. She fostered the boy when he was brought to her as a foundling babe. Aridul grew to be a fine young man and eventually was Searched and Impressed blue Thaayth. A'dul continued to visit his foster mother, his constant contact making Rytara very happy. This boy was more to her than any child of her loins could be.

When A'dul transferred to a Weyr on the Southern Continent, Rytara went with him, transferring to Sonnette's Dawn Hold to fill the vacant Headwoman position there. She was at the hold for a few turns when A'dul and Thaayth were killed during Threadfall. Rytara remained much the same loving woman she had always been, but there was a sadness that haunted her eyes. She no longer fosters children, explaining that her duties as a Headwoman do not give her the necessary time to devote to a fosterling. Actually, she feels that without such a close bond, she will not suffer a loss as she did with A'dul.
