Physical Description : Serrindara's red-blond hair falls to her shoulders when loose, wavy and untamable, but under most cases is pulled back into a tight knot. Her eyes are a serious pewter grey, often displaying the gambit of her emotions. She stands middling height, with a lean and slender build and long, lean legs. She prefers well fitting trousers and short or long sleeved blouses beneath her riding gear, depending on the weather. It's rare to see Serrindara in bright colors, she usually sticks to greys, creams and tans, though for a special occasion she may be seen in varying shades of green.

Personality : On the surface Serrindara is a friendly woman with a flare for life and an occasional temper. She believes one should experience life rather than just watch it from the sidelines, and it shows in her interactions with others. While usually quite pleasant, she can be slightly volatile when crossed.

Life Story : Serrindara was born to a brown and green rider in Southern Weyr. Her parents formed no lasting attachment to one another but remained relatively friendly in the raising of their daughter. She never gave much thought to standing on the sands as a child, she simply assumed if she was meant to be a dragonrider, she would eventually be searched, if not, she would find her own place in the world. She was fascinated by the workings of the human body, studying some with the Weyr healers, though not enough to ever be considered an apprentice.

A month after she turned 16, a clutch of dragons lay on the sands at Southern, and Serrindara was Searched to stand on the sands. For all her thoughts of making her own way in life as a child, she found her heart pounding in her ears as she watched the eggs rocking on the sands. The instant Xarbith burst from her shell and stumbled toward Serrindara, the woman knew what her fate would be. After several years at Southern, searching simply for a bit of a change, Serrindara transferred to Thread's End Weyr, where she resides today.

Physical Dragon : Xarbith's green hide resembles a pale malachite color, her frame lean and well suited to the quick dives and maneuvers that characterize green dragons.

Dragon's Personality:Xarbith is an inquisitive dragon, fascinated by the other creatures of Pern such as firelizards, canines, and felines. She loves nothing more than a long swim then a good oiling, then basking in the sun. Her mood will often mirror Serrindara, or perhaps it is the other way around.

Pet Description : Incandescent is a slender little gold flitter with the curiosity of a feline. She does not take things as other firelizards might be apt to do, but she does watch the activities around her with the fascination of a child. She ll come at Serrindara s call, though she s not apt to listen to other people that often. Thankfully, this hasn t been too much of an issue because she ll usually hover out of the way of whatever has recently caught her attention.
