BLUERIDER S'NO
APPRENTICE BAKER

Persona : S'no
Writing Status : NPC/Free
Age : 35
Gender : Male
Rank/Craft : Apprentice Baker, Bluerider, Wingrider (CFRF)
Residence : Ierne Island Weyr

Physical Description : S'no is a little above average height and not as muscular as one might expect a dragonrider to be although he is certainly no weakling, rather his physiology appears to dictate that his strong muscles are compact and so less noticable.

S'no has short, light brown, almost dark blonde, hair and blue eyes. The tan he has had since his youth has started to fade in the cool climate of Ierne Island and the fierce winds have added a few more lines to his face in the past few Turns. Still, his love for cakes and other sweet baked items has remained undiminished, as has his slight paunch, which has never quite been worked off by all his exercise.

Personality : One of the first things people note about S'no is his loud and infectious laugh, the sign of a man who is happy with his life and who wants to share that happiness with the world around him.

The second thing people notice, usually after several glasses of wine, a conversation about their life history and a few secrets, is that S'no is a terrible gossip. He doesn't mean to be but sometimes things just slip out. Often his weyrmate, P'chi, manages to drag him off before he can say anything too bad but there have been times when the bluerider has really put his foot in it.

S'no is also fiercely loyal to his friends, and even more so to P'chi and the voice that projects his identifiable laugh rises to a such level when he is angry that everyone within earshot will know that S'no is on the rampage. While his greenriding weyrmate is more than able to take care of himself, S'no is the first to confront anyone who would dare to threaten his weyrmate.

Life Story : Sulno was born to healers stationed at Ista Hold. When he had five Turns his parents split amicably with his father returning to the Healer Hall at Fort while his mother continued on at Ista. He spent many of his later childhood years believing it was his father's obsessive devotion to his work that had caused a rift between his parents and as such he refused to have anything to do with the Healercraft, much to his mother's dismay.

Instead he turned his mind to something he enjoyed greatly: baking. As a young teenager, he helped out in the Hold kitchens until he reached apprenticeship age when he was accepted by one of the journeyman bakers, by the name of Grynn, to learn the craft. S'no indulged a little too much in his pastries and quickly grew wider than he was tall. Still, he did not mind and learned all the secrets that Grynn would impart to him.

It was to the surprise of everyone, not least the rider of the green Sulienth, that Sulno was Searched one hot, summer's day. Mirska, Sulienth's rider, was determined that her offering to the hatchlings was not going to be rejected on grounds of unfitness and put Sulno though a rather unforgiving training regime. Whatever unkind things the usually jovial Sulno may have said under his breath during those training sessions were all forgotten when he Impressed blue Neigeth.

While other weyrlings complained about their drills, S'no was greatly please to find that the drills allowed him to stay relatively trim (although his stomach refused to become completely flat) while eating all the pastries he could manage.

Hearing about an opening at the newly formed Ierne Island Weyr, S'no took up the challenge of relocating to a new Weyr, although he did question his decision several times during his first Turn as he acclimatised to what he felt was an abominably cold place.

Dragon's Name : Neigeth
Dragon's Colour : Blue
Dragon's Age : 20
Sire/Dam : Transfer (Ista Weyr)
Rider's Age at Impression : 15

Physical Dragon : An ultramarine blue, Neigeth is at the larger end of the scale for his colour and as such has the power to fly full Fall if the situation calls for it. His hide has several areas of 'lacing' from previous encounters with Thread, most obtained within the first five Turns of his life.

Dragon's Personality: Neigeth shares his rider's love for life and socialising, but not for gossip. Honestly, Neigeth just doesn't understand what is so entertaining about not being able to keep a secret. Sometimes he simply despairs of his rider's habit.
