Physical Description : Sorenn is tall and thin, with an undernourished appearance. His hair and eyes are brown. His skin is pale, almost pasty, because he is never seen outside in the sun. His face always has a sour expression. If he ever smiled, he might be considered handsome.

Personality : Sorenn is not by nature a pleasant person. He doesn't like to socialize or "make nice" with anyone outside his craft. When forced into company, he is by turns aloof, arrogant, and unpleasant. He prefers to be left alone in his workshop with his tools and his beloved wood. In contrast to his personality, however, his work is exquisite: the pieces he produces always fetch the highest marks, and he is a well-known craftsman.

Life Story : All the general staff know about Sorenn is that he came to the Woodcraft Hall with his journeyman rank and a carisak of tools. The masters had heard enough praise for his craftsmanship to accept him readily into their ranks, but no one has ever asked him why he decided to come South. They probably think he won't tell them.
