Physical Description : It is rare to see the journeywoman with other than a cheerful smile on her face, and the little laugh lines on her face appear to be a permanent fixture. Tesse is about thirtyish, with a slim, tall figure and a short cap of curly brown hair that nestles around her face like the soft fur of a feline. She is nothing at all like one's mental picture of what a seamstress should be -- short, dowdy, matronly. Tesse is none of these. But she loves her work, and people say she has a true gift with a needle and thread.

Her specialty is tailoring rather than the actual weaving of fabric, although she makes her own laces that she uses as trim or inserts on some of her creations.
