Physical Description: : Thealona is five feet tall and has green-gold eyes, waist-length wavy rusty colored hair and fair skin that burns rather than tans. She has a slim but muscular build due to turns of stone working. She is pretty almost to the point of being beautiful.

Personality: Thealona can be friendly and likeable once she trusts someone, but trust does not come easy to her. Generally, she can be very outspoken and defensive when she feels threatened, which tends to get her into trouble. She has a rather bad temper and is liable to fight if provoked and can hold a grudge for a while. She is a very loyal and dedicated friend who will go out of her way for the people she cares for.

Life Story: Thealona is the oldest of eight children. While growing up, she was her father's favorite child and he doted on her endlessly. He rewarded her on her 15th birthday with a firelizard egg for all of her hard work with him on a very difficult project. Of all his children she was the only one to show interest in stone crafting, it seemed to come naturally to her. She hardly knew her mother even though they shared the same home. Thealona simply could not be what her mother wished her to be; a proper lady, and this caused great tension and many quarrels between them. Thealona only dreamed of becoming a Master Stonemason and spending her life working with her father.

Her best friend was the son of a local tanner who was five turns older than Thealona. They spent all of their free time together and were like siblings. It was the loss of this friend when she was only ten that caused a happy and friendly child to become withdrawn and shy over time.

She spent her childhood in the hold and never planned to leave, but fate had different plans. Only a few days after a Search rider had stopped by the hold, which she avoided by being in the mines with her father, another dragonrider arrived to pick up some work from her father. When helping him bring the packages to the rider Thealona ended up Searched. This caused a great turmoil and rift in her and in the end changed her life. The rider explained that if she didn't Impress she could return home is she chose. Not wanting to leave she looked to her father for help and he a man who held great respect for dragonriders encouraged her to go. Both ways she could always return home and he'd still be proud of her. This however appalled her mother for she had an extreme dislike for dragonriders and Weyr life. Thassia stated that she'd disown Thealona if she left to go live in the Weyr. This only brought out Thealona's temper and off to the Weyr she went.

Dragon's Personality: Novath is an enhanced version of Thealona only far chattier and an endless source of amusement. She mothers Thealona and even tends to push her rider when it's needed, as well as being stable and supportive when her rider needs it. Novath has a great love of flight and doesn’t mind doing sweeps. She is also up to trying new maneuvers, and will push herself to accomplish something different and difficult.

Physical Dragon: Novath is a deep forest green color and about the size of an average green dragon. She does seem to have a rather long tail though and seems to tangle up in it at times when land bound.

Pet Description: Zuki is a dark brown color and rather big for a brown. He is very protective of Thealona and Novath and when he’s not clinging to either of them, he is nearby somewhere watching. He also encourages Novath's flying antics with his own, mimicking everything that she does with zeal. He is very intelligent and has been taught to do various useful things.
